This week we have been completing a Christmas Create choice board. Here are the activities I completed. I write a Christmas story.

Te Whare Tapa Wha

 This year we have been learning about Te Whare Tapa Wha and how it helps us. We made a slide to show the things we do to help us for each part. We need to keep all parts of our whare strong to be happy, healthy and safe.

Life Education

Last week we visited the Life Education Caravan.  We were learning about Te Whare Tapa Wha and Resilience.  Here is a google draw we made up to help us think and remember what resilience is.

Greats and Grands

 

Today was meant to be Greats and Grands day at our school.  This has been cancelled for this year due to COVID-19.  We wanted to still share some writing about our amazing grandparents.  Here is my work.

 As part of t-shaped literacy this week we read a journal article called Make a Compass. We followed the instructions and recorded the steps.

 We have been learning the difference between statements and questions. We wrote our own questions based on the America's Cup.

What You need is  soap, tell, water  

turn on the tap and wet your hands.

squeeze some soap on your hands  and rub it  into your hands

rub your hands and sing happy Birthday tarun on the water and rinse your hands  in the water then dry  with a tell.

 We have been learning how to make a speech by using OREO format. We had to state our opinion, give reasons and examples then restate our opinion.
